i can spend hours watching

these model talks/first faces type videos. Always nice seeing a model off the runway and how she'd be like in real life. Kudos to any kind of non American accents and quirky personalities.

Miss Ward shall always be a favorite. Love how she constantly says "you know" in her Aussie accent, as well as her cute button nose.

Once a cheater always a cheater

I am really starting to believe in this saying more and more. Cheating is not just physical, but emotional. And personally I find the latter more painful. Sure they may be physically with you, and he goes home to you and you wake up with him right beside you, but if his mind and heart are wandering off, then he really isn't there. I just find it sad, some guys never really learn. They never grow up and they don't even attempt to change and better themselves. Shame shame shame.

Oh and if you had to use another person to get somewhere in your life, that isn't much of an accomplishment. So stop boasting and claiming all the credit. Cause you wouldn't be where you are without that boost. The NERVE of some people.

Wouldn't mind 'Gossip Girl' or 'Seinfeld' (minus Season 1 & 2 ) DVDs... as well as anything that organizes accessories and junk. Still lusting over that UO jewelry stand. Gotta get organized! Am also on the lookout for the perfect planner for next year that I'm determined to actually put to use. But that's all for now. If a slew of other things come to mind, I may make a part 2. ;) And hope y'all like the new name.

Indecisive moi

My blog is barely a year old and I'm already considering changing the name yet again, just in time before the new year. And funny enough it's a name I've been debating about for the longest time.. and the fact it keeps appearing in my head must mean something. So I suppose I'll just listen to my gut instinct and go for it. I'll do the changes later. I feel with every name change marks a change or growth period for me personally. So this marks the end of the 6month geranium belle era.

Happy 1 Year blog !

32 posts in 1 year isn't exactly impressive. As well as under going 2 name changes. But at least I pop up every now and then right?... nah not an excuse. I fail at blogging. But any-who here's to the one year anniversary. :) I'll leave you with some of my favorite songs right now.

Love me some Tim Curry

When I was younger, I didn't care for this scene at all and would often fast forward through it....

My, have times changed.

Tim is my kind of guy! He can sing, dance and rock lingerie with high heels. ;)

State of confusion

Sometimes I wonder what to do with this blog?! Its original purpose is to be the "usual fashion blog" (documenting your daily outfits & posting inspirational pictures, etc) but then I thought, there's so many other blogs doing the exact thing. How can you be original and stand out? I think it's pretty obvious when a blogger is original and when one is trying "too hard". (not trying to bash, but it's sorta true) I just don't want to be perceived as the latter, since fashion has always been a huge part of who I am.

Sadly I wanted to start a fashion related blog (or some form of an outlet) about 3-4 years ago, back when I really DID take a picture of my daily outfit(s). (remember doing so for my ex boyfriend who always wanted to see how I looked like since we didn't go to the same school) Looking back, how I wished I started then, would be nice to see all the change and growth (fashion/personal) any person would experience during a span of 3-4 years. I also wanted to blog about my life, but then I thought what for? My life isn't as exciting as say... Cory Kennedy.

The urge to start blogging again emerged late last year, when I saw in both "Teen Vogue" & "F21" magazine how blogging has become so influential in the world of fashion. It opened my eyes and inspired me all over again. But sadly it's almost been a year since I started my blog and boy... have I sucked at it. Definitely not a consistent blogger at all. Which leads me to: what should I mainly blog about? Should there be a main focus? Or should it be scatter brained? Guess I'm the only person who can answer that. I still want it centered around fashion, just feel the need to add other elements as well. I'll admit it's hard taking daily outfit pics for many reasons: from a busy schedule; to not having a consistent photographer and sadly gaining 10 pounds has discouraged me from even taking pictures. But despite all this, I'll still go for it...because I believe if you really like something, then do it.

Excuse this rant. If you knew me you'd know I tend to just sometimes type whatever comes into mind (and I have to let it out haha). Being the Libra that I am, I tend to sort and balance everything out, but instead of keeping it in my head..might as well just blog it out. I suppose I'm going through a lost or transitional stage, or in deep thought. I am also trying to find ways to improve my blog. Here's to an improved geranium belle by next year. Always stay positive. :)

all along the terrace

Summer is coming to an end, finally. How I look forward to fall fashion. What I love about summer tho is how my "usual" outfit is so simple. No layers (unlike fall), just a dress & sandals, voila done! I'm sure a dress is everyone's go to outfit. ;) I fell in love with this dress because it reminds me of something from the 1940s-1950s. Love love love. Wore this last month to my Aunt's birthday party. Love her house up on the terrace overlooking LA. I want to go back...

Been

single for 1 year now, yay.

On Feb 2011, I'll be single for 1 year & 6months which equals.. longest period I've EVER been single.
Just felt the need to boast, since nowadays most people can't even last months without having somebody. Well I can. Being single isn't so bad and why rush into things & commitment? You're only young once, so live it up & enjoy it before you're tied down forever.

Though I admit sometimes I miss this.....

but that's VERY rare! ;D

Languorous

Well you know I think my fate's belated, because of all the hours I waited, for the day when I'd no longer cry.
I get myself to work by eight but oh, was I born too late? And do you think I'll fail at every single thing I try?

Just one of those nights...
Nights where I feel vulnerable and a bit nostalgic. When I think about my past, present and future. All the pain and fear builds up & appears in my head. I sometimes long for days years ago, when I was carefree & naive. When I was a dreamer. Those times feel so long ago. Wake me up when August ends. (August happens to be my least favorite month, because for the past 3 years, something bad had always occurred to me)

I promise you though I am still an optimistic and happy person. Just having a moment I suppose, and blogging it out helps. I love how blogging/fashion cheers me up. :) I shall overcome.

Favorite song at the moment. Been playing it nonstop on my iPod. I fancy the video too & its simplicity.

All white rooms

Besides lace, gray nail polish and Bob Dylan... lately I've felt inspired from looking at all white rooms. (Suppose it's just my aspiring interior designer side kicking in...) Just the clean crisp look of it, makes me want to completely change the look of my room. I've had white walls to begin with, but never as white as I want it now. Also had periods with pink/rose colored walls, and now my current lilac wall that I've had for about 5 years now... so I would like some kind of change!

Currently been so busy with summer school, but I already have some outfit posts set aside, some saved from months ago... just been either too busy or lazy to upload them. (I'm a terrible blogger I know!) I'll try getting to those this week.

I always blog at the most random/inconvenient time. It is 2am now; I have class at 9am; which means I need to be up by 6am.. since I commute. So I'll end this here.

Ooo wait. Had to share these lovely pics of Miranda Kerr Bloom (congrats!) <3

I love how raw & simple these pictures are. And it appears Miranda is in an all white bedroom, aka my dream room! Coincidence? I think not.. ;) The one of her in stripes is my current desktop background!

Ok now I'm really ending this. Bonne nuit!

lag lag lag!

I changed my blog name again. I'm sorry. I'm a Libra and we are known for our indecisiveness.

So from Chic Disposition (fashion related name) to Lust Minus Zero (for the catchy factor) and now geranium belle. It sounds pretty & catchy, you can also visually imagine it (like fashion) and it has a personal pizazz to it, using part of my name.

Last time I'm changing the blog name... I promise! Settling with this name/URL for sure! :D

Anyways!

So I've been MIA again. Blame school school & school. Good news, the spring quarter ends on the 18th. Bad news, I start summer school on the 23rd. -___- Don't wanna promise constant posts or that I'll blog more, but I'll try my best.

I started this blog for fashion related purposes and to document some of my outfits. But I'll try to add variety and talk about whatEVER tickles my fancy, but fashion will always be at the heart of this blog! :) Just wanted to clear that up...

I should start treating this more like my tumblr. Been blogging there more; the re-blog feature still annoys me a tad bit... but overall I enjoy it. Lately I use it as an archive for every interesting/inspiring quote I find. I'm a sucker for quotes and abstract song lyrics.

Summer is coming. Hate hot weather. I want September to come already!

Some changes! New name & URL!

So I neglected my blog for over a month... and during that time frame a lot has happened: from minor drama at home, from going back to school and just being busy. I also haven't felt THAT inspired to even blog or to document my outfits. I think once I have a steady photographer things would be easier, unless of course I rely on self timer for the rest of my life. I sort-of envy fashion bloggers who have boyfriends who are also their photographers (ex. Rumi of fashiontoast or Rachel of That's Chic). Ah maybe one day I'll have one of my own. :p

Also during my 1 month hiatus, I realized I didn't really like the name of my blog anymore. I felt it was too generic/forgettable and plus so many other fashion blog names use the word 'chic', so I'm scared mines will just blend in with all the rest.

So to my followers, YES I changed both the title & URL of my blog from Chic Disposition to Lust Minus Zero. Same blog & content but different name. Sorry for the confusion (if there was any).

Sadly though since I changed my URL...there goes all my comments. :( So I can't even comment back all those who left me sweet comments in my last entry. Hopefully I'll find your blogs again.
EDIT: False alarm! Comments are back. (=

I'll end the rambling now. Just wanted to confirm all the new changes and that I haven't quit blogging!
I gotta get back to studying. I'll try to squeeze fashion related posts this week. :)

I'll leave 2 pics of me from last week. I love anything off the shoulder.

Walking in LA

I love going to LA. Whenever I'm there it feels like home for some odd reason. Then again I was born in LA county (but only lived there until I was 2 years old), so I suppose I just left my heart there. But anywho, I was there last weekend for a memorial celebration for my late Uncle Lee. It seemed to be an uplifting celebration, so I didn't dress in all black.

So on that day, besides bonding with the family, meeting more extended family members and eating at Palermo's pizza, I also checked out this awesome vintage shop called Popkiller Dept.

(some pics I found on google)

They had great stuff, though in my opinion a tad bit overpriced, and a lot of fun/random stuff to look at (nice seeing a David Bowie poster!) besides clothes, sorta like Urban Outfitters. I was a bit bummed they had no shoes in my size. I also fell in love with this gorgeous zipper dress, I wish I had gotten it. I also wish I had more time looking around in there, because my mom dragged me out. >< Ah don't want to keep rambling, but to sum it up: I want to go back there and actually make a purchase. And to check it out if you're ever in LA. :)

Since I haven't blogged in over 10 days, I decided to add another outfit. Here's what I wore last week when I had my usual coffee date with my best friend Melanie.

Also wanted to add that in my previous entries, all pics (besides my own pics from my camera) were found on google/Flickr. So just wanted to give credit.

Can't believe it's already March. The third month. And 3 is my lucky number, so let's see what happens. :)
