And I said I was gonna grow my hair out...

Chopped it off last week. :) Was inspired by Miss J. Ramirez.

But it can also sort of look like a mullet, so now Mel calls me Kstew. How awesome is that?
I think I may want it more shorter. We'll see. I'm pretty indecisive when it comes to my hair.

No longer a teen

I was a subscriber to Teen Vogue from 2005-2009 (so from ages 16-20).
I told myself, as soon as I turn 20.. I'll upgrade to Vogue, and that's exactly what I did.
Nice way to start off the new decade with a new magazine subscription. Though I gotta renew one for Nylon. It just suddenly stopped coming in the mail, without any notification. -__-

As of recently, the weather has been gloomy (rain, rain, rain) so there hasn't been an opportunity to do photo shoots for outfits. I admit I love cold weather and the rain, but it would be nice to see some sun. Weather like this makes me want to stay curled up in bed all day.

Happy Birthday Mary Anne!!

It's official, you are now allowed to drink LEGALLY. Whoohoo.

Story of my life

Literally. Even specific details.

This scene describes in the best way possible about being broken and repairing yourself back to normal:

10 resolutions for 2010

1. Get more sleep! (Stop sleeping around 3-5am. Since about 5 months ago, my sleeping pattern has never been the same.)

2. Become a more responsible and independent person in everything that I do.

3. Prioritize and manage my time more efficiently.

4. Drive more
. (Yes I have a license, since '08. I just don't care to drive for some reason. Guess I'm weird.)

5. Take care of myself. (Meaning my health, diet, exercise, skin, heart etc.)

6. Make school and my future my top priority. (Nursing school/LL here I come!)

7. Read more. (I have so many books I want to read. I hope to have days where I can just sit at home the whole time, with coffee and a good book.)

8. Get a job. (Never had one. Ever. It's about time I try it out and gain some experience. I've already applied at a couple of jobs, so I hope to get hired somewhere.)

9. Be more respectful and appreciative towards my parents. (Overall I AM a respectful daughter, well...compared to others around my age bracket. But I want to be even more nicer and really show how grateful I am to have them. Cause at the end of the day, you only have 1 set of parents. Love them and don't take them for granted.)

10. Stay single. (I'm not shutting out love completely, cause I know you can't stop what is supposed to happen. But as much as possible, I don't want a relationship or have anything to do with the dating scene. I like being on my own anyhow. I also need to heal. Plus I've never been the type of girl who jumps into something new just because. Or feel they need to have some form of companionship to be happy. That's never been me, and I will prove just that.)

Tis all.
I am determined to follow them all through the year. :)
Wish me luck. And good luck to those with resolutions as well.
Don't be weak.

QOTD = Quote Of The Day

"Once I decide to trust people, I try to trust them until the end. During everyone's life, there are many instances when a person finds themself in a bad situation, and thus sometimes leading to bad decisions. But this doesn't necessarily make that person out to be a bad one. So, how about giving them a second chance? You know whether or not they're a bad person in your gut, so don't question them because of their bad move."

Red Tights

I've always been fond of tights, especially colored ones.

So if Blair Waldorf approves... moi aussi! :)

On Xmas Eve, I wore my own pair of red tights. Here's my own rendition of the Blair look; though I should have added a headband or curled my hair. But I wanted to keep it simple. Oh and I should've worn black pumps instead of gray. -_- Being Asian means not wearing shoes in the house, so I basically just grabbed any pair for this look lol.

-Dress: Rampage
-Tights: Forever 21
-Coat: Forever 21
-Pumps: Deena & Ozzy from Urban Outfitters
-Necklace & bracelet: Forever 21

So far I've only worn my tights once. Can't wait to try them out more and experiment with different ideas and looks.
I also want to get them in more colors. Variety!

But red I must say, screams out bold and daring.

Meet Lady Laplap!

My love for pink and OPI nail polish led me to this...

Got her (yep it's a girl) exactly a month ago today. I named her Lady Laplap. :)
I love her so. At least you know laptops can be fashion forward. And it's so compact compared to my last laptop/tablet. So I'm taking good care of this one.
Can't wait to bring her to school libraries and coffee shops.

Hello 2010!

New year. New decade. New beginning.

I hope 2010 will be kind to me & my loved ones. :)
Haven't blogged in almost a month, the holidays kept me busy. But since I'm taking the winter quarter off from school, I should have more time to update/blog. Yay.

In the meantime pics of inspiration!
